Re: Falcons V Glos
Think he picked up a knock in training, no other explanation really. First start for Hanson, Second for Hudson, Falcons back row looks tasty, and the weather looks pants - attritional game, not a happy hunting ground for glos normally and away we are dire....

This is fairly dire from Newcastle. Quite why Richards thought Hodgson was a better choice than Flood remains a mystery worthy of Poirot

Re: Falcons V Glos
Just as Worcester miss Hougaard, Falcons miss Takalua. He gives them a real threat at 9 which really helps keep defences honest. Wouldn't solve all their problems, but it would help.
Trying to watch Sinoti, and just getting the sense that whilst he's electric in attack, he seems pretty lazy in defence?

Strange game. Newcastle with 2/3 possession and territory but didn't look dangerous at all. Polledri, Savage, Ackermann and Ludlow all with in excess of 20 tackles according to ESPN.
Just seems like a case of keep Sinoti quiet (With no Goneva or Takalau) and you keep Newcastle quiet.

Glos defence relentless and maintained structure throughout.
We are no longer dire away from home

Win the next 2 away and maybe you'll be edging around the corner.

Impressive from Glaws. Newcastle really should have posed more questions with the ball but theres no denying Glaws are looking a very compact, disciplined side. Thought their 2 flankers were excellent.

I didn’t see the game, but that’s an impressive result for Gloucester.
I like what I’ve seen from Jake Polledri. I know he is Italian qualified but is he actually tied to Italy?

I've been more impressed by Ludlow honestly, topping the tackle charts, always there in support and won a few decent turnovers.
