I'm off for a soak in the bath being of old age. Oddly I've just been asked if I want a sherry, how on earth is that suitable as a drink for a hot bath, and what sort of madness lies down this route? Maybe if one drank sherry warm, but that too is madness, and this of course is chilled.Mellsblue wrote:Light the fire, dim the lights, pour yourself a glass of red, put Hot Chocolate You Sexy Thing on the stereo and fast forward the highlights to the 23rd minute. Obviously left to my own wishes I'd have neither guests nor Christmas, though there is it's an excuse for a snowball or three. Guest bedrooms now ready, and all the usual paraphernalia is down from the loft, so I'm left feeling virtuous but also cross at not having simply watched the rugby with a scotchMellsblue wrote:Diggers, did you see Kvesic’s offload? For some comment even vaguely related to the actual thread then Exeter now look very stronly placed for a home semi-final

I suspect I'm not allowed to smoke in the house so no need for a smoking jacket. Though seeing as I might smoke one cigar a year these days I can live with smoking that outside. The only slight concern is the cigar is likely to be around Christmas time and that can lead to the brandy getting a little coolBanquo wrote:hence the APR gene splice. The most I ever saw of Last of Summer Wine was a brief part of the opening credits so couldn't say one way or another.

MP doesn’t care what’s his beer tastes like as long as it’s made locally, is vegan friendly and the bottle doesn’t clash with his beard and pocket watch.Stom wrote:He's a Kiwi living in the US, what do you think?Digby wrote:Are we talking about real beer, or crappy lager
