Knee injury - I'm not sure exactly what, and I don't recall having heard an ERA for him.Banquo wrote:Is Clark crocked?
Tap's expected back for next week, JJ given a much needed rest (Dunn too).
Sale fans playing the "disrespecting us" card.
By my reckoning, Bath's unavailable list is
LHP: Catt, Obano
HK: Batty, Walker
THP: Perenise, Knight, Palma-Newport
LK: Charteris, Attwood
BR: Underhill, Faletau, Ellis
Half-Backs: Lewis
Centres: Tapuai, Clark
Back3: Rokoduguni, Homer, Williams

On paper that Sale backline and backrow is bloomin’ good.

Re: Sale vs Bath Friday night
Sorry all, dunno why I got it in my head that it was a Friday night game - must have been that Sale away often seems to be a Friday.
Have just watched the match video; terrible first half with of school-boy errors from both teams and the officials; lots of niggle as well (more visibly from Sale, though I'm sure Bath were no innocents).
2nd half, Bath tightened up in response to the errors and niggle, Sale opened up and either went around us, or forced us to scramble wide and over-stretch ourselves, breaking our line at will. Sale were utterly ruthless in exploiting the Priestland-Banahn centre axis in that second half.
Sale's second half performance was just fantastic, one of those you lose massively whilst playing closer to par than to poorly.
We currently have 10 teams in the Prem who can turn it on and beat anyone when they're running hot. Even Wuss can play like that, they just struggle to keep it going for long enough to actually win those matches.

Bath seem to really struggle backing up more than a couple of big games on the trot. Think it’s partly the squad is not quite big enough with the injuries, and also the fact they usually make an obscene number of tackles per game.

For the rest of the season all Sale matches will be on sat afternoons unless TV dictates otherwise.

They kick a lot, which explains the tackle count.Timbo wrote:Bath seem to really struggle backing up more than a couple of big games on the trot. Think it’s partly the squad is not quite big enough with the injuries, and also the fact they usually make an obscene number of tackles per game.

Is that a decision made to try and boost crowd numbers? I thought they were making Firday night their thing to avoid clashes with the football?Mellsblue wrote:For the rest of the season all Sale matches will be on sat afternoons unless TV dictates otherwise.
