It's probably the best available backline but the pitch will be a major drawback, regardless of weather. I'd have been happier watching this one in Killie.Croft_No.5 wrote:What's the weather going to be like? Pitch looked awful last time out so hope it doesn't have have a negative impact.
Team is great and looking forward to watching the game.
What crowds they get there?hp18 wrote:It's probably the best available backline but the pitch will be a major drawback, regardless of weather. 7212 for Munsters mid 6Ns. 9k for Racing, reckon the crowd would be close to Racing for two full strength sides with active support and after a better than normal 6Ns.OptimisticJock wrote:What crowds they get there?hp18 wrote:It's probably the best available backline but the pitch will be a major drawback, regardless of weather. A bit. Games are either sold out or close to. Hopefully the drawn out talks with GCC/GL have covered that as well as the pitch.OptimisticJock wrote:Being hamstrung by Scotstoun by the look of it.
Chance of larger stands?hp18 wrote:A bit. Games are either sold out or close to. Hopefully the drawn out talks with GCC/GL have covered that as well as the pitch.OptimisticJock wrote:Being hamstrung by Scotstoun by the look of it.
Reading through that injury list there are a crazy amount of concussions. Very worrying.Tobylerone wrote:Nice Nick Williams as well, Glasgow concussion assessments likely to increase..
Not a clue. North needs a rebuild, maybe jacked up with retractable stands in front. But that's a big money job, maybe something to boost the end stands might be doable.OptimisticJock wrote:Chance of larger stands?hp18 wrote:A bit. Games are either sold out or close to. That pitch could seriously limit both sides. Otherwise should be a an intresting game. Some of our boys coming back from injury. Others have spent some time with Ireland without getting much in the way of gametime. a couple rested as a result of having been with Ireland. Nonetheless there's aserious amount of talent in our line up - though next year's will be extraordinary with the addition of charles Piutau and Marcel Coetzee.Cameo wrote:Great team and the Ulster one looks good too. Yeah, although in the matches I've seen you this year you haven't looked as strong, over the last few years you definitely seem to be doing it right.Eugene Wrayburn wrote:That pitch could seriously limit both sides. We've been badly affected by the RWC - not so much volume of players as importance - and injury. It's been a bit of an injury apocalype actually. Missing the likes of Tommy Bowe and Ian henderson isnever good but the sheer volume of injuries at times has been very testing. Whilst we have a decent amount of depth, most of it is very green - particularly out behind.Cameo wrote:Yeah, although in the matches I've seen you this year you haven't looked as strong, over the last few years you definitely seem to be doing it right.Eugene Wrayburn wrote:That pitch could seriously limit both sides. Also you have a stadium that Glasgow (and even more so Edinburgh) would love
We've looked competent which is nice.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Hell of a start!
That's got to be one of the fastest yellows I've ever seen that wasn't the result of violence. Fair call though I guess.
You sometimes miss some decent punditry listening with English commentary.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Decent result to only conceded 7 whilst Hoggy was off there. Ulster are playing some great attacking rugby so far.
Breakdown needs looking at from Glasgow.
As a random aside, I'm likeing Mike Blair in the Alba commentator box.
Ha! Aye, I don't think I've arsed listening to the English version for years now. I'm all about the liney and long range penas attempts.OptimisticJock wrote:You sometimes miss some decent punditry listening with English commentary.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Decent result to only conceded 7 whilst Hoggy was off there. Someone with a beard on Callum Black. Not subtle. They showed it during the injury break. For some reason Lacey decided he didn't want to look at it. On the Mike Brown basis they might excape but if there's a reasonable citing commissioner/panel that's at least 4 weeks out.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Didn't see that?
