Front row should be interesting. Tigers really have to get on top in the scrums, otherwise its hard to see how they can get a decisive edge elsewhere.

Back 5 of our pack is going to get pwned to fuck! All the while Will Evans twiddles his thumbs. Sheesh it’s painful to watch!

A second row that is average as average can be. Ineffectual meat at 6, and then rank average at 7 and 8. Whoopee!!! It is a rancid pack!! It’s just not fit to play Exeter.

The really frustrating thing is that Evans has been one of Tigers best players when he has been given a chance. Its not as if he cannot play at this level.

Well he is a young player and you know.....MOC!! I want him to leave and it saddens me to say that, but the lad needs to play top level rugby and he’s not going to get it with us. It’s hardly like he’s being kept out but anyone good or even playing well. I want him to develop and that requires meaningful game time and that is not us sadly.

My thoughts exactly. Actually, scratch that - I've just seen EP's post as it crossed with this one - that is basically what I wanted to say. This is going to be a murdering.

They’ve got LCD who is as good as anyone at the breakdown and we’ve got......erm.......hope?

Their work rate as a pack is superb and we pick......a big bag of shit.

This will be very painful to watch!!!

To turn the attention away from our failings for a moment, anyone know what's happened to Kvesic? Is he injured, or is the mini-Kvesic-revival over and done with?

White pushes Townsend from the bench, this will not please Puja.

That's a big side Exeter are putting out, looking like they're going for the AP and leaving what to do about Europe for another day. At some point as regards Europe they'll need a slightly different plan, or to keep doubling down on size in manner which would please Mallinder

No idea on Kvesic, but I’m really surprised to see the Exeter back row this week. Given the much discussed lack of mobility in the Tigers’ back row, I would have thought it would be far better exploited by Simmonds than Waldrom.

As it is, it’s basically a clash of 6 big lumps of meat (some more effective than others).

Flying off his feet with the shoulder? Or something else?

I haven't seen much of the guy, but there's something about him that makes me suspect he likes a borderline cheap shot.

That. I'm so pi55ed off with these clear outs, and that was especially garish

Yup. When the angle so clearly towards the ground, rather than knocking the player away from the ball, it just seems cynical. But rarely ever gets called.

Enforce the laws at the ruck and you get a much better game.

I shouldn't laugh, but Nowell tried to run over Ford who stopped him dead and then got wiped out by the second tackler.

Interesting point on the double tackle- sides are preferring to do this rather than compete at the breakdown; yet another unintended consequence of a ill thought out law change....more injuries
