I can confirm even before you look at the shortlist that a well known Saracens number 10 has of course made the list for those being voted on as the best player in Europe this season, and that's only fair, you wouldn't want to look say to Scarlets for topping their group after 2 opening defeats. However that gripe aside the award this season is finally likely not to go to an English player, with both the clubs and players taking to heart the clear message that Brexit means Brexit, whatever the feck that means
