I looked at the Saracens bench and was quite cheered for a moment. Then I looked at ours.

We really need a win here to keep going for Europe, let alone top 4, and I'm just not sure I can see it happening. Hopefully an extra week of Bakewell's enough for miracles.

Even with their absentees Saracens look too strong.

Bakewell didnt perform too many miracles at Bristol if the game at Ealing was anything to go by. The Bristol pack were distinctly 2nd best on the night.

That bristol pack of:
1 Ryan Bevington
2 Jason Harris-Wright
3 Cortes
4 Joe Joyce
5 Sam Jeffries
6 Steven Luatua
7 Thomas
8 Nick Haining

Outside of Luatua, I’m not surprised Ealing beasted them up front really.

Batemen is so funny to watch playing. He is like the honey monster. Nice try.

Every time Manu does anything I cringe. Every carry I expect the breakdown to clear leaving Manu injured at the bottom.

Sarries awful so far.

sarries all over the shop, and Spencer not knocking on Eddies door here.

Tigers going well, in fairness- and in fairness, Puja has been saying forwards coaching needed sorting and it looks like he had a good point on this 40 mins.

Never understood the love for Spencer. Looks like the 9 version of Paul Grayson.

He has a decent pass, is quite quick, and has a good left footed kick. He's been guilty of trying too hard in the past, but he's just making some bad mistakes today.

These are the sort of arguments used for Goode at FB........(mostly by our dear friend Beefy) .....but I fear Spencer will also be found wanting on the test arena

we wont find out soon if he carries on like this. Wiggy is such a treasure, why would we want to try someone else. I'm not arguing, just saying why Spencer gets mentioned, he can look good.

Don't get me wrong, anybody but Wiigglesworth from the bench. Its just good old Oakboy touting Spencer (having caught a highlights reel)undermines the work from the likes of Robson & Simpson

Maybe I just don’t understand the breakdown anymore, but I’d say Barritt was both not supporting his weight and in at the side for that turnover.

Not sure I'd touch Simpson with Oakies bargepole these days.
