Quins seems very optimistic the game will go ahead.

"Despite the adverse weather conditions many are experiencing across the country, and while the Club cannot guarantee the match won't be cancelled, it is highly unlikely that Friday night's match against Bath will be called off.

The pitch has been covered by a protective dome since Monday 26th February and will be kept on until Friday afternoon when the temperature is expected to rise.

All public areas are being gritted and plans are already in place to deal with any snowfall between now and kick-off".

This looks a good game to miss and pick up brownie points from the missus by agreeing rugby doesn't need to be on all the time.

Whereas for me it's a rare chance to see a Quins game as I don't really watch AP on Saturdays...

I dunno - that just sounds like a dangerous precedent to set. How literal is her memory when quoting your own words against you 7 years later?

Quins vs Bath is currently on; subject to semi-regular pitch inspections

Hey, Digby. Think I need to speak with your missus. What's her number? ;)

I live 10 or so miles away and getting to the ground was going to be a headache, so I'm not overly surprised.

What's more annoying though is that I'm flying out to Dublin for work on Sunday so I won't be able to get the rearranged time!

Now you're all wishing you'd taken brownie points for agreeing there could be other things on the TV
