And perfectly solid in minutes 30-40. They really do setup do Sale to take the game away from Curry. On lineouts he's involved in they go open and he stays near the touchline, on restarts he's on the far side of where they kick and so on.

And it's odd it's done so much as he looks rather good when he has more work, indeed he's part of the turnover for the Yarde try. He would of course be good out wide if they can ever play the ball back to where he is, but Sale don't seem to manage that much.

Certainly in part. Croft was though a much more established player, and known to be a terrific player in the tight even though he was (too often) asked to go or stay wide.

I don't think we quite know the same about Curry, would for instance he keep the same speed on his chases if he's having to work more in the tight, would he fade out of matches? And so on and so on. The more I see the more I like him though. There is maybe Diamond is trying to look after him a bit given he is so young, and that wouldn't be nothing.

Did anyone else notice that Sale team doctor getting sent to the stands last minute for throwing a second ball onto the pitch to stop Northampton taking a quick tap? Pretty unclassy behaviour, but doesn't seem too out of character for Sale at the moment.

I meant in terms of asking someone to do something which doesn't maximise their skills.

I think you might be right. I'd just like to see more of him in the tight before thinking he's not already doing that which best suits him

Can someone tell me what the Law saws about 2 balls on the pitch. Was at the Wasps game on Sunday and at one point Wasps were kicking to the corner from a penalty and there was a delay as Cipriani asked for another ball as the hooker was busy drying a ball with a towel standing a few feet away from him, on the pitch. So two balls on the pitch.
