Not remotely a late tackle.

Ref may as well have asked the video ref to find him a reason to give a pen.

If it is late, Lawes needs a new career.

I fail to see how they don't score here

Their number 8 should be shot for not keeping that ball in the scrum

Not even that, think back to Marcus Smith getting his hands through the tackle earlier and the white carrier was already being tackled before the ball was gathered. That's a knock on and fair enough, and it didn't make any difference in this instance, but it's a weird opinion for anyone to think that late never mind some supposed trained officials

Yep. Good try. Would’ve been scored a few secs earlier if the French no8 had kept his cool.

I was hoping I'd be able to post they didn't score as some idiot picked early from the scrum

So many questionable decisions by the ref

Their 7 didn't seem on his feet
Tackle in the air was a yellow all day long
Tackle wasn't late (not that it mattered… but it might if he gets penalised again)
I'm pretty sure there was an early tackle when Smith offloaded it

We're stringing together some nice play, but the French scrum is ridiculous and they should win this

Also, the difference between how Curry speaks to the ref and Farrell is amazing. Can we just get him in as captain?

I really hope we do get both Curry's involved, as from what ive seen Ben seems to be a bit more skillful and an offloader and Tom a bit more physical. You'd think theyd really push eachother on

France not even bothering to try and get onside, if that's fatigue we might still do okay.

(Fwiw I don't think the tackle in the air was worth a yellow)

French miles offside again there.

Looks like we could do with a chat about not forcing offloads when they aren't on.

Boom. Those boys know how to build pressure by running through the phases. Are the senior team watching?

Looks like it's going to come down to who has more in the tank and/or the better bench. Lots of slow play from both sides at the end there

SA used a cunning ploy by moving in defence, which France don't do so much

The irony is that I've been shouting at the TV 3 or 4 times about French tackling without the ball and then the TMO penalises our 1st one.

Important try to take us to a 6 point gap. We can win this. The Feench will tire.

That turn over, I'd be absolutely over the moon if our player did it, but all I see is his hands on the floor, his knee down, and not a clear release with both arms… (Biased)

One hesitates to talk about quotas but is the guy really up to it? He has looked a bit lost at times.

We're doing a lot of things well. Nice attacking shape, creating the odd opening, and defending really well. Outside of the scrum we are looking very good.

The only quota will be to get as many ex-players into the referee ranks regardless of quality.
