I also picked Genge as captain, the first time I've got the pick right

I’m so annoyed! I had Genge as captain and then swapped it to Veainu. He still got me 100 points which is immense in itself, but 200 would have been unbelievable.

Some unbelievable scores this game week. I broke 600 for the first time but the leading scorer this week isn’t far off 800!

I’ll wait for the scores to be finalised before I post the link to the league standings but I don’t think there’s much movement in the table.

That's the hilarious thing. I broke 600 points this week, but am still 500 points off the person above me. After my best week I've moved a grand total of one place up, which comes after my worst week last time out

I'm so far 2nd for this week in the whole game, very good week for me.

You think you chose poorly - I decided against Genge as my captain in favour of Jack "Zero Points" Willis.

That’s awesome. You’re less than 400 points away from the guy in first.

I’m about a 1000 points behind you in the lofty position of 237th!

In fairness our Rugby Rebels Premiership league is ridiculous. We have 3 of the top 10 in the overall league and out top 10 are all in the top 5% of players.

Damnit! I thought the play-offs counted, so I've been planning my transfers to fill my side with Sarries and Exeter players and readying myself to get in whomever I can of the other candidates. Just found out today that the game ends after the league season, which is a shame - thought that would've added an extra bit of planning to it.

It's been good fun this game though. I think I'll do it again next season.

I'd guessed play offs wouldn't, but had quite a few players anyway. Just bought Gopperth so i have a kicker again. Still got funds saved and hope to be able to get a decent final week signing.

I assumed the play-offs would count too. I think there should almost be a mini game for it.

I’m not sure if anyone’s noticed, but the value of your squad now should be higher than the £7m you get at the start of the season (mine’s just short of £8m). My idea would be that your squad is completely re-set, but you get the money to reinvest in buying a new squad for the play-offs. You could have a cap of 10 players per side and up to 5 free transfers after the semi-finals with up to another 5 allowed at the usual -20 points per player.

This would mean that you could keep the game going right up until the final and players who have bought and sold well over the season are rewarded by having a little extra to spend.

I’d keep it as part of the regular leaderboard, but it could be split in to a play-off specific piece which is a new competition. That way you could potential have a winner of the regular season and a winner for the play-offs.

Tweet the guy with the idea, he's really receptive.

Special play offs only, using the full budget of your squad (so someone who's driven up value over the season is rewarded), no penalties for getting rid of players either, so you can refresh between semi and final (no team limits either).

Wow. Crazy lineups have really made it struggle. I've sold Christian Wade for a boost in funds, but I'm locked out of a lot of signings due to having too many from the club. Question is, do I sell someone else to make room, but lose the points. In the end I've signed a few cheap kids in the hopes that they can at least do OK from the bench.

Can't see it being a good week this time, those who got the right picks earlier will be having a much better time of it now.

The lineups worked out OK for me.

Whoever I pick, I’m nowhere near the leaders, so my aim is to break 10,000 points and be in the top 200.

Underwhelming week for me. Finished 257th on 9990 points. Don Armand's late drop out cost me the 10 points I needed to crack 10,000 but I still wouldn't have made the top 200 anyway.

Final Rugby Rebels Premiership standings: https://therugbymagazine.com/fantasy/pr ... remiership

Congratulations to Sam Shark (wherever he may be these days).

Team of the week:

1. A. Waller
2. Barrington
3. Cruse
4. Olmstead
5. Williams
6. Ewers
7. Itoje
8. Faletau
9. Fotuali'i
10. Wilson
11. Holmes
12. Matavesi
13. Banahan
14. Vuna
15. Goode

A team of the season hasn't been published, but based upon total points it will be:

1. M. Vunipola - Saracens
2. Singleton - Worcester
3. R. Harrison - Sale
4. Green - Newcastle
5. Armand - Exeter
6. Gibson - Northampton
7. Young - Wasps
8. S. Simmonds - Exeter
9. de Klerk - Sale
10. Fotuali'i - Bath
11. Adams - Worcester
12. Woodward - Gloucester
13. Woodburn - Exeter
14. Wade - Wasps
15. Goode - Saracens

Obviously there are a few liberties there with positions, but by the rules of the game, that's the lineup. It's an interesting group of players and I wouldn't have expected to see that many of those names in there.

Using the same points but with actual positions, the lineup is:

1. M. Vunipola - Saracens
2. Singleton - Worcester
3. Cooper-Woolley - Wasps
4. Skinner - Exeter
5. Green - Newcastle
6. Gibson - Northampton
7. Armand - Exeter
8. Simmonds - Exeter
9. de Klerk - Sale
10. Ford - Leicester
11. Woodburn - Exeter
12. Gopperth - Wasps
13. Twelvetrees - Gloucester
14. Adams - Worcester
15. Goode - Saracens

Bad final week saw me drop from 6th overall to 12th, annoying to have dropped out the top 10. Was also leading the Wasps league last week.

Will almost certainly go for it again next season, but not sure I'll bother with premium if I need to pay.

Holy resurrected thread Batman.

It’s live again and I just received an invite to another league (I’m still in this one as well). I have brought my new team and it’s all systems go.

Not going to buy my squad till I know who's fit, and maybe seen a few friendlies if we're lucky.

Good plan but I thought I would get in before the prices changed too much.

Same here. I have some ideas on who I’ll be signing but last season I committed too early on a few players who were then injured for quite a while.

I’ll be confirming my squad once the teams are announced for round 1!

I’m happy to set up a Rugby Rebel’s league again if the interest is there?
