You and I won’t be the only ones to have lost Sam Simmonds

Crap week for me so far ... might struggle to get 400 points at this rate.

Really bad week for me so far, fairly sure some of my selections didn't go through properly (fairly sure I'd not have had Earl starting for instance, I did check lineups).

Ah well, it's a long season, definitely not a solid start though. Also lost simmonds and kvesic.

Lost Simmonds who was my captain and so he was automatically replaced by Goode?

Second week in a row I couldn't change my team due to work. I got by on luck last week - not so today as I had no kicker

You do appear to get one automatic replacement from the bench if there's a drop-out, which is nice. I lost Kvesic and he was replaced with TCurry, who had a very good game.

Yep - that’s new for this season.

If the player who drops out is your captain, I think it reverts to whoever you had as captain the previous week.

Simmonds was my captain and was replaced by Ross for me (who had an OK game). Mako, who was my captain last week was set as captain.

I have four players starting today, but unless they all have stormers, I won’t be scoring much more than 400 and on last season’s evidence, to be anywhere close to winning the league, you need to be averaging closer to 500 per week.

Yeah. Lamb came in for me. But I'm not happy with my performance at all. It's been terrible.

If your captain drops out then your most expensive player that scores points becomes your captain I think.

A bit perplexed why Reinach isn't scoring me more points currently. Saints aren't playing badly and he's been quite neat and tidy.

I’m the same, I can’t believe he only got me 5 points on the bench yesterday.

I’ve had a really crap week with Spencer’s red being the cherry on top.

I also have Reinach who hasn’t really delivered at all. 9s are usually a good source of points but he seems to be a bit of an exception at the moment. It’s odd when you consider Will Cliff is scoring really well but not obviously playing better or in a more successful side.

TBH, I really wonder about any players getting single digit scores. It really makes you wonder what they’re doing. Bateman’s score may change once the data has all been gathered, but as it stands he managed to score a princely 4 points for his 55 minutes on the pitch ...

Bad week confirmed only 320 points see me nose dive 5 places down the table (and I wasn’t that high to begin with). My only saving grace is that I don’t really lose any internationals for Autumn and the 6 nations.

7. T. Curry (Sale)

I've avoided doing this today, though could have done. Instead I've accepted a 0 from a bench player. Given who I might have been able to select, they are unlikely to get more than 40 points and I would have ended up being worse off.

At least I managed to do a bit of team management this week having missed the previous two - though it will be telling if I end up doing worse!

I seriously considered a 0 sub this week but instead shelved my planned signing and traded-out a winger who’s not playing for one who is (and has performed better so far this season).

The rotation is the annoying part. Just when you think you’re covered, a starter from the previous week gets dropped out of the squad altogether ...

I've avoided a -20, but it's tough. Already noticing a lot more rotation from the clubs this season! And I thought I'd picked a pretty large squad anyway. I've got a couple of bench players on my bench.

Have to say, with my life schedule all over the place, it's tougher to sit down and actually care about this. Which is funny, since I used to do most of it on my phone whilst walking my dog before! Now I've actually got more time in a way, but don't care for it as much. Going to keep trying to put in teams though, if only in case I regain more interest later.

It's the back three that are killing me this week. None of Lewington, Wade and Veainu are even on the bench!

Yep, Lewington and Veainu got me, didn't bother with Wade this season, since I wanted other Wasps.

Same here! I’m not convinced Woodward’s going to get much change out of Sarries so I’m hoping Adams comes good. He was reliable for me last season.

Oops, I screwed up with Lewington :( The game has replaced drop-outs before, will it do the same with Lewington for me? If not, well, that's another week lost.

At least Simmonds has 2 tries. And the other Simmonds 3 kicks.

Oh feck, Launch is out, too!
