Yes, thank you Cassandra. Let us hold onto some shreds of hope for a bit longer.

Puja, that sums it up. We all want to be bubbling with optimistic enthusiasm. Yes, we got carried away with the winning streak to an extent but tight wins against the run of play indicated more to come from a good team spirit. Now, we are hoping for something to get the least bit optimistic about.

If you remember, Cassandra was granted the gift of true prophecy but cursed in that no-one would believe her.

Intentional reference - Morepork was prohesising this back when the winning run was happening.

He is staying in SA and will commute to Blighty to conduct periodic calisthenics.

The photo suggests he signed the contract while on acid.

You could at least pretend not to be enjoying it quite so much.

Read an article from another site, which says that he's spending most of October and November here and then moving to London in January, but the family are staying in South Africa for the moment. Which is better, if not perfect.

Does Eddie not know that Nick Easter is available and will work for minimum wage + tea/coffee?

We must be going to win the RWC. It's that simple. Nothing else makes sense.

Jones turned a winning side into a bunch of losers. He upset loads of the staff who left. He constantly picks curious squads (perhaps just to give him an easy chance to wind up the press/punditry?). He's brought in a NZ defence coach who has never done the job before and thinks he can do it from SA (can't he get a job in NZ).

Farrell is now our best player. Tuilagi and Billy V will perform miracles on crutches. There's still time to introduce a few more dubiously qualified foreigners.

The RFU support him.

You couldn't make it up. None of the playing issues are real - just in our imagination. We will win all the AIs, stroll to a GS and bag RWC No 2.
