Mikey Brown wrote:Interesting to read “EJ on record as wanting Ford to run more”. I had assumed it was exactly the opposite. Ford is at his best when he can shape a game himself, but we play a massive amount through both 9 (for some odd reason) and 12, with Ford just booting the ball in the air. I can’t imagine Eddie has no say over this?
I thought it was a harsh comment on Ford when we're busy putting locks in the backrow, typically lack carriers in the side and have a very limited running option at 12. But seemingly Eddie expects

Nah, it's Autumn. A nice glass of Italian red. Valpolicella or maybe a Montepulciano.

He barely looked to be running even when making that line break against your boys. Impressive he's stayed so relevant despite losing what was once blistering pace for a 10

I was too busy getting bent in two myself to be watching the game, and have little incentive to watch it after the fact either!

There’s an Indian summer in the UK at present. It’ll raining cats and dogs come the weekend, though.
