What are the odds on May, Tuilagi, and Youngs to all get injured?

Given our current luck - high, high and low.

With Youngs flitting between High and Low depending on your views of whether we'd be better off with Wigglesworth or not (how are we still in this position?!)

Well done to Olowofela - has deservedly kept his place when May came back. I was worried about him in a rainy day at Ulster, but he stood up and looked one of our better backs. Very interested to see him progress and I'd wager he might establish himself ahead of Holmes as well once the AIs are over and we're (hopefully) back to Veainu, May, +1, in our back three.

He's going to do his knee now and be out for the season.

I think I last saw Youngs in the Saints game which is probably one no player wants to be judged on, nonetheless of specific concern to the Youngs skillset and what England want was his rubbish kicking game on the day, has that reverted more to type?

Of interest, Care's has improved a bit of late. In fact, he's been in good form so far this season.

I'm not sure that is interesting unless Eddie is up for some tactical changes, and if Eddie is up for that selecting Rhodes is odd

Now you mention it I could kind of see him going for a more lightweight, pacey, running set of backs but with a massive, plodding set of forwards that couldn't possibly support it. Sounds fun, no?

I don't know what to expect, I didn’t expect Eddie to do what he did on arrival, and then I wouldn't have expected he'd have kept on doing the same thing quite so much

There was some shift towards the end of the 6N on attack, does that progress, do we regress, or might it be something entirely different

I don't imagine he only wants big forwards when he's been so keen on spreading them so wide, but we'll see

I'm not sure, and I'm starting to not care either to be honest. I'm sure he's got a plan, but I bet it's a boring one. Anyway, this isn't the 'I hate Eddie Jones thread', as much as I'd like it to be.

It will be interesting to see if Scarlets have any more luck with running their centres over the top of Ford/Eastmond- who have looked pretty handy in defence. Also Tuilagi must have played at least 100 minutes since his last injury. I imagine that was his last and it'll be plain sailing from here on out. Denton dropped or injured? He's looked pretty gash every time I've seen him for Tigers.

Yeah, we've got a few of those already. Let's keep this one to how Leicester are wasting talent rather than England.

Again, I hope Scarlets waste their time trying to run over Ford and Eastmond. Ulster got no change out of it and there was one extremely satisfying moment where Eastmond stopped a big forward, picked him up, and sent him back the way he came.

Denton has been shocking. Early contender for the Schuster and about as useless as Polota-Nau.

Pound for pound Eastmond has to be one of the best defenders around.

It’s sad, Scotland and Tigers would both benefit so much from the Denton that played in the RWC. He managed to hide his spade-hands and his lack of spatial awareness in defence with sheer, brute force everywhere else, but maybe he’s not got that in him anymore.

It’s fine though, Townsend has pinned all our hopes on Blade Thomson being a Scot now. Let me know how he goes.

The Eddie latest started with a question about whether Youngs' kicking was as bad this season as seen in the Saints game or whether that was an aberration? Does anyone who has the misfortune to watch Leicester have any thoughts?

It's not an aberration, nor has been his passing. He's been rubbish this season so far.

Youngs TBF does seem to actually up his game against the Southern Hemisphere teams for England regardless of his club form.

Youngs has been pretty dire. I used to think he was capable of the occasional really outstanding game. I'm not sure he can even do that now.
Its good to see May back in the side.
And Will Spencer. Had he not copped a ban, would he have made the England squad?

The annoying thing is that he has still got it and I can completely see him suddenly turning it on. He needs to be dropped (from both Leicester and England) and I'll bet he'll start fighting again. Sadly, there's too little real competition at either.

Getting results if not exactly being sparkling form. We have a fair few injuries to key personnel, I'm not expecting much from this match but we'll see.

As BT Spurt don't do day passes, it would be great if anyone with a reliable source for streams could give pass on a link in pm. Don't much fancy walkabout on a Friday night...
