My usual quality level of prediction.

That was an awful game. I struggled to stay awake it was that pedestrian. Learned nothing, achieved nothing, and the only thing of interest was listening to the commentators desperately trying to imply that this was a first team game by referencing players having "second first team game of the season" and "stepping up this higher level of first team rugby".

He was very good and looks like he will take the step up to regular 1st team rugby pretty easily. Thought the young Tigers lock, Jordan, acquitted himself well. Crossdale and Gallagher looked lively.

Apparently Dombrandt was very good for Quins. I saw him in a one of the A league games and he definitely has something about him.

Yeh Jordan is rated he still needs to put on some mass though to reach his potential at lock but he is a leader him and martin dominated at U18 level.

I rate Lewis as well IMO should focus on being a 6 again like Jordan could prob do with putting on some weight but his line and offload to Faeo for his try was very good.

Tigers fielding J.Ford and Smith at 13 was our biggest mistake couldn’t create anything.

Harry Wells is coming into his own this season must have one of the highest turnover amounts for a lock in England.

Decent game, lawday looked quality, and both newcastle wings have serious pace.

Good game today. Exe did well to come back but Falcons really let it slip.
Agree about Lawday, who was very good again. The young Exe half backs did OK. Marshall, the Falcons openside, was very industrious and the wings are rapid.

Watched the highlights this evening. I was looking forward to seeing some of the Quins and Saints game, but instead 40mins was dedicated to two games with the other 4 games getting barely 5mins each.

From what I’d read, Mitchell, Grayson and Dingwall were all very good for Saints and Dombrandt was very good for Quins, but aside from seeing the tries, I didn’t get much more insight.

From what I saw, Stuart, Kibirige and Radwan were very good for Newcastle and Kpoku stood out for Saracens. I also thought Woolstonecroft was looking good for Saracens too.

Maunder the younger was also a standout - crisp, clean, fast, accurate service, contestable box-kicks, and getting to every ruck within a maximum of a couple of seconds puts him ahead of Youngs on form for me! Got badly caught once, but that's something that'll come with experience.

Radwan's step/pace for their first try was kind of absurd too.

Is that Jeffries’ first involvement this season too? I seem to remember him looking good a couple of seasons ago.

He came on against Worcester and did ok in a bad performance. He has shown a lot of potential so good to have him back. Muldowny and CP back could give us a bit of a boost going back to the league.

A big congrats to Sara Cox for taking charge of the Wasps game this weekend. And here's hoping having female refs is simply based on ability and becomes simply part of the everyday in the near future such congrats would only come from family and friends

It’s been a good few days for her. First the drive time gig on BBC R2 and now this. Big congratulations.

Thirded - I hadn't wanted to bring it up myself, as I feel it OUGHT to be unremarkable; unfortunately, we don't yet live in that world.

It's a fantastic step, but long way to go!

Has anyone seen her previous reffing? Do we know what type of ref she is?

Is he back full time now? Good squad man to have, I'd say.

Good to see Worcester being only one substitution away from the dream centre partnership of Lawrence Olivier.
