Gods, I've got used to BT's presentation of rugby. Going back to Sky is like going back in time 20 years.

Nice to see us striking quickly and using the ball on our own scrum. Too often in the past, we've insisted on having the contest and trying to dominate even when we're up against a superior pack.

Itoje off for 10 might be a blessing - he's been responsible for three of our four penalties and only that last one wasn't pointless.

My bar switched to Sol Campbell talking wendy-ball.
Do they know something ?.

If we're holding onto silver linings, our new defensive coach seems to have had an impact.

Lineout / maul defence - falling apart

Otherwise, we're just not having the ball much ourselves

Daly failing under the high ball - sigh

On the positive side... a back row player made a turnover. Rejoice.

And, as I say that, Pollard just waltzes between our co-captains. Good work, guys - glad we're not picking that lightweight Ford at 10 anymore.

We really do look toothless without Ford. Our sole move with possession is the high kick, but we're showing no sign of successfully contesting.

That was a shocking decision at the scrum. Kitshoff never looked like going straight and Sinckler went straight through him. Justice done wih the lineout screwup.

But Farrell is the Messiah.

If they could throw lineouts we'd be f'cked.

That's the second scrum in a row where Hartley's failed the hook - gets his foot up, but just flubs the strike. No good having a plan to get it in and out the scrum quickly if the hooker doesn't hook it.

Slade bouncing the ball to his own face sorta sums up this match so far. Hows the Wales/Scotland game?

Te'o is going to get a yellow for shoulder charging in the tackle if someone spots him. That's about the third I've seen.

And we concede. Can't say it's against the run of play. Farrell missing another tackle in midfield.

Damn. To be fair we've only had the ball for about 2 minutes.

There was the tackle Farrell just ignored, does that count as a miss too?

It would've been risible if he'd taken it and we'd gone 10-3 up.

Oh god, bring on Ford. Te'o looks 5m behind the pace and Farrell's providung zero creativity from 10. That move a minute ago where he telegraphed it back to May and sent every defender onto him was dire.
