Watched both games back to back last night.
Very impressed with Ed after coming back but they really need to stop letting teams back in.
On the weeg game can anyone else remember s time when a guy played played well and scored 3 tries never got MOTM.
Stafford was very good and Ospreys we’re far more competitive than the score line suggested although thief attack is obvious.

I thought the younger guys impressed. Not easy playinhg in the prem then having to play at the tempo of a pro14 match.
The Edinburhh half backs remain a problem.

Great results. Looking at the conference tables though the SA teams really need to give some assurances for next season or the pro14 should get rid. The italian teams are finally performing but we now have two more drifters. Do they really bring in much cash.
For the italians I also felt we had a bit if an obligation to help out and give them somewhere to play. The same doesnt apply to SA's fifth and sixth teams

Can’t say much about the Kings, but I know that the Cheetahs are working on next season already - they did really well last season off the back of an overlapping super rugby and Currie Cup season and had a load of their players poached. Some of this year’s new starters and some of their promoted Currie Cup players are just getting game time at the moment - I’d expect them to be more of a challenge next year.Cameo wrote:Great results. Maybe the issue is that they shouldn't be allowed to "have their cake and eat it". They (at least in name) are in 3 different tournaments, two of which cross at various times with the PRO14.General Zod wrote:Can’t say much about the Kings, but I know that the Cheetahs are working on next season already - they did really well last season off the back of an overlapping super rugby and Currie Cup season and had a load of their players poached. I wouldn't be getting rid, but at least making the point that things need to improve.

On the games from the weekend. I am not sure Scott deserves the 12 shirt back from Dean.
