I don't agree. He's a competent FH, good in one system and unable to play expansive rugby.Tigersman wrote:Pretty much Farrell is a good 10.
But the way the media and general rugby public talk about him it’s like he is a world class 10 in the class of Sexton or something

He needed it more like. Not sure I've seen a worse game for Wilson before today (still far from our worst player of course... Danny)

50p says that tomorrow’s headline is ‘Farrell saves England’. No one else matters as far as the press are concerned.Which Tyler wrote:Underhill on is good.
Mercer off is... erm... our best backrow today (low bar).

Loads in front of the back foot for consecutive rucks, but nothing.
Great consistency.
Nice try though.
This can still fuck off though:

You want to know why we don't like Farrell? What Clive said. What Barnes says. It's ridiculous.

Has there been a law amendment allowing players to intentionally, or otherwise bump into their own players?

BTW, my MoM was Ford. I think when he actually got the ball, he controlled the game superbly.
I just don't understand partnering Youngs with Farrell and Care with Ford. Their skills seem better suited the other way round.

Surprised Farrell wasn't motm. The win was down to him apparently.

TBF, I though Itoje was pretty deserving of the MoM.
Cokanasiga had a good debut, Ewels was again quietly very good and Sinckler and Moon made a big impact from the bench.

BTW, I do think Farrell had started to become a pretty good international 12. It really negates the things he can't do and accentuates his positives.
