My work were trying to give away two corporate (free bar) tickets to the game this week and couldn't find any takers for some reason. It took me pointing out that a) the Rec is not a nice place to spend time in its current state, comp bar or no, unless you have a particular interest in the rugby, and b) Bath are going to be utterly and mercilessly destroyed, so it won't even be a particularly good match.

That lineup has not changed my opinion. Gods help them.

Every time I see Leinster lineups (for games they care about) it makes me disappointed that we don't work on a regions system in England (bigger fan of internationals etc etc)

Think Bath have a decent enough pack out and the 2 wingers are no slouches. But big question marks over 10 and 15.
Weather might be a factor. Wet and windy forecast.

I think they will get smashed personally.

I agree. Wilson ain’t no top flight flyhalf. The pack is a decent Prem pack - all have at the least been in the conversation about England - but it’s a bit short at this level.

It looks like Craig Doyle goes to Woodburn’s tailor. As does Vince Cable.

What a defensive set that was. Some big tackles in there.

Underhill has been superb. Couple of drops in the carrier but superb everywhere else.

Huge effort from Bath. Errors cost them in the 2nd half, notably the intercept try which was decisive. Their pack fronted up with the back row being outstanding. Underhill was tremendous.

Underhill was brilliant. I only caught the second half but he must have got 4 turnovers in that half alone as well as some decent carries and brutal tackling as always. He’s starting to live up to the hype he had when he first moved.

That Coka penalty. How is he supposed to do anything differently unless he just hangs back and doesn’t bother tackling? It is a waist high tackle. In the ball carrier drops that low I don’t see how it can be a penalty at all. This really is starting to annoy me. I get head high stuff being bad, though it is such a basic approach to a complex problem. However, penalising a waist high tackle is bonkers.

Other than that enjoyable game. Can’t fault Bath’s effort. Decision making and execution at times was not quite there, but effort was top level. The pack was excellent, but especially Ewels, Ellis, Underhill and Louw.

Way more promising than I expected, and quite honestly, would have been a draw if Wilson had heard the "advantage over" called when he caught the ball.

Very glad ref allowed us to change our mind in that last few seconds though, scrum was an utterly, utterly brain-dead call.
Coka's "high" tackle shouldn't even has stood as a penalty. I also felt there was a tip tackle from Leinster that led to their 3 pointer, but a very close thing, and certainly no complaint there.
Didn't the way Leinster were talking to the ref at times, couple of times I felt they could have reversed the decision or been marched back 10. Sign of the times though, and just me showing my age.

Leinster, like all great teams, now how to get right to the line of the referee. It is an art form that they excel at, along with everything else. You just have to admire everything about them.

Yup, Exeter and Saracens too, Ireland and New Zealand at international level.
I absolutely do admire that skill when neutral, and get rather peed off about it when the opponent - usually briefly

Can't say I admire the ref talking really.

Attwoods defending of the first Leinster try was shocking

Rob Kearney should have had a penalty against him when fell to the ground to avoid a tackle after taking a catch, union should have an involuntary tackle rule

2nd half larmour catches a ball on touch line and calls a mark then walks ten yards infield to make an angle for himself and ref and bath let them get away with it
