I've not seen the incident you're referring to but never quite got the rule that any failed intercept is a penalty either.

Again, not really worth its own thread but it's great/shocking to see Horwill and Robshaw back. Auterac, Swainston and Walker making rare appearances and Morris at 13.

Clifford's absence an interesting one regarding England selection or does that mean nothing?

It's the cup, no-one cares. Clifford needs a rest, he's important to the first XV and has played a tonne of minutes after being injured for a while. Let him put his feet up.

Clifford will still be in Portugal, won't he?

To be expected really, Tigers are pretty much out the competition and Saints can get a semi final berth if they win. Having said that with Saints anything is possible and while on paper it looks a bit of a mis-match in reality it could be a big banana skin for us.

Really isn't a big banana skin game for Saints.
And isn't even a bit of a mis-match you have 13 of the 23 22 or younger (10 of the 23 are 20 and younger) against a saints team with the likes of Brussow, Reinach, Franks, Gibson, Harrison, Pisi, Haskell in it.

I will be happy if Tigers can get within 25 of saints.

Yep, he's out with England until they trim it to 23 in the middle of next week (I'd be tempted to give him the #20 shirt, but would imagine Hughes will get that)
