Depth Charts

Post by Stom »

At last the Guardian got a rugby writer who knows what he's talking about, and Ben Ryan made an interesting post about depth charts.

Which got me thinking? What's England's? Now, I know, however many greens I put, however many times Diggers will be here saying none of them are world class... but still...

Looking at that, I'd say it means top 5 in their position in the world. Generous for Ford and George, miserly on Sinckler, but not so far off.

Yeah, George might not be...but I think the majority are right, ish. But it does highlight our weak areas. Specifically SH, centre and the flanks. Though things are looking up at flank.

Is someone like Launchbury world class when he might not play?

Btw to anyone who's red/green colour blind you've little chance of taking pertinent info from the OP, just in case you're wondering what's going on

I've no problem labelling the Vunipolas as world class, after that there's a number who're close but not there yet
