Ireland looking a bit short of ideas in midfield. Maybe Eng defence is causing that, but still, I expected a bit more variation.

Ireland don't look like scoring a try, so 20 pts might do it for England.

Isn't that how we scored a try on 90 seconds?Buggaluggs wrote:top tip. Long mid-field passes don't work.

Farrell does love a long miss pass.Which Tyler wrote:Isn't that how we scored a try on 90 seconds?Buggaluggs wrote:top tip. Long mid-field passes don't work.

Blindside wing takes the ball in to the breakdown so Youngs puts a boxkick up for his blindside wing to chase. Genius.

Re: Ire - Eng Match Thread
I haven't forgiven himnyet for knowing that his blindside wing is playing flanker, and is under pressure there, so won't release cleanly from the scrum. So he carries solo down the blindside, where Ireland only had POM and Henshaw lying ready for him.Mellsblue wrote:Blindside wing takes the ball in to the breakdown so Youngs puts a boxkick up for his blindside wing to chase. Henry Slade, that was lovely. Shame about staying ahead of the ball. One great thing, one stupid thing. Lucky.
