I just don't understand, when you have those backs, you pick Priestland over Burns...

Re: Bath vs Newcastle
Really was, that delay as the ball bounced up and tried to beat him pushed him too wide on his wing, and left him nowhere to out his feet.
I also thought Flood's ntackle on Chudley for the 3rd try would have been a penalty try if successful. Which with the consequent yellow would have been stupidly harsh for a seat-belt tackle; but sadly inevitable this year.
Tomorrow off at half time, having had treatment on his left knee a few times during the first. Ruaridh comes on, with Coka switching wings

Re: Bath vs Newcastle
Wow.
Sinoti dives for the line to showboat as he scores, Coka rips the ball midair.
Not a Freddie moment, but still

Bath win 30-13. Nothing for Newcastle who are now 5 pts behind Worcester. Next week - away to Exeter. They really need to start picking up points urgently.

I didn't see the build up to this, but in this shot - it looks like show boating! Love the crowds faces though

Re: Bath vs Newcastle
I wasn't sure at first either, but on his previous step his right foot was about half an inch inside the touch line. Basically, if he'd out his left foot to the ground again, he'd have been in touch.Renniks wrote:I didn't see the build up to this, but in this shot - it looks like show boating! Re: Bath vs Newcastle
He'd actually just ridden a tackle and was trying to avoid falling into touch. Only way he could get the ball down and a very good finish.Renniks wrote:I didn't see the build up to this, but in this shot - it looks like show boating! Love the crowds faces though
