No, you're right, I'm sorry. He didn't cost us the game. He was utter shit, but he had nothing to do with the loss. I just lost my rag at another ridiculous decision.

Ben Youngs and the inability of anyone in England management or team to think on their feet cost us the game. We didn't use ANY of our back subs, ffs, despite the game getting away.

It was embarrassing. Just embarrassing.

Was it really well played Wales? I thought both teams were $hit TBH. Our fault for failing to adapt but that Welsh team is nowhere near good enough to win a grand slam.

Surprise surprise. Come up against a team that match us up front and Farrell looks poor and our ‘kick the leather off the ball’ tactics aren’t good enough.

FT Wal 21 - 13 Eng
Defeat snatched from the jaws of victory by turgid, lack-lustre Eng.
Yet again, Wales fitness, determination and spirit carry them over the line. And not giving lots of silly penalties away in succession at a key time in the match.

You need to change the record bro.
Well, he didn't cost us, but he was shit.

Ben Youngs was an embarrassment. Farrell was shit. I just...can't believe no-one had the wit to change that. No-one.

Someone should be fired, it's that bad. I mean, you need to adapt.
Robson, Ford, Genge left hanging (not mentioning Hughes, Shields). Seriously wtf.

Why didn't Jones replace the England half backs early in the second half? Poor coaching decision.

Their line out was poose, and the box kicks were terrible. The midfield didn't really create much. They were however quite a bit better at the ruck than you have been used to in this comp so far. Both sides have kicking as the foundation tactic and there is a lot of luck riding off that. Just not today.

scrum half for sure. He's so slow. England need a stupid, but decisive scrum half. Don't over-think it, just do it and do it quick. FAZ, and the rest of the backs are really good. They just need the ball fast. Let them make the decisions.

We were monstered on territory and some extent on possession- we used the ball appallingly. Our defence was decent ish.

More like composure. When the going got tough at around the 50 minute mark, they CHANGED THEIR PLAYERS. Were you allowed to do that? Isn't that cheating?

And then they were able to turn the screw. While we changed nothing, just slowly lost the game bit by bit...

Eddie deserves a shoeing for that performance. I mean, when things don't go right, you need to change it. We needed to swap out Youngs and probably Farrell, too, but we did nothing.

England learn how to kick tactically in the first two games. Then forget everything else. My Granny makes faster decisions than Young’s and Farrell and she’s been dead 20 years.
Note to England: the tactical kicking doesn’t work if the opposition full back and wingers have played at any level past under 10’s.

100% agree. Left too many points out there in the first half and completely failed to adapt in the second. Eddie is totally to blame for this.

Who would he bring on? with 200+ tackles, Ford would not do well. Wales would have run everything down his channel. FAZ may not have had his best day, but a soft channel he is not.

That was piss poor. Really poor. Thoughtless adherence to a game plan, lacking imagination, craft and vision. Opportunities to move the ball repeatedly ignored, possession aimlessly given back and bench ignored. 76 minutes before Genge came on. Robson, Ford and LCD ignored. Inexplicable from Jones with momentum switching to Wales during a 2nd half where we simply got worse by the minute.
we got exactly what we deserved - nothing.

Yet again I do hope it was because Kruis was knackered that he was replaced.

As for not even using Robso or Ford when our half backs are looking so bereft of ideas just stinks.

And there was me warming to Jones.

I tell you what though, Dan Biggar coming on with 20 left might have been the vinegar stroke in this game

Ford might not make dominant tackles but he makes them and consistently. He's far from a liability in defence. Just lightweight so can't stop anyone dead.

But that's a price you need to pay for control and we had 0. His passing game and game management is superb, so he'd be the perfect candidate for that role.
