The "get rid of the coach"poll returns
Having missed out last year, it's back. Please select the point at which you will want EJ to be sacked.

Seems pointless to sack him so close to the world cup honestly. I think england will do pretty badly this 6N but I still wouldn't sack him. Who would you get in?

Why do you keep making posts about sacking Eddie Jones?

Pretty pointless - he isn't going anywhere ahead of the RWC - though I don't fancy his chances of taking us into another 6N, despite his contract extension.

You must have some very high standards if you think winning in Dublin 20-32 is "doing pretty badly".
What would make you happy ?

It does make one question the significance of performances in the European club competition. How does one put it all into context, especially if there is any merit in Jones's claim that we will improve a lot more? There have been numerous instances in the past of peaking too early so has Jones got his timing right?

And quite a few players from Exeter, who managed somehow to avoid winning their first two games, which would've seen them through comfortably. They were hardly off the pace, just crap at closing out victories.Banquo wrote:Sarries have been going well- lots in the pack yesterdayOakboy wrote:It does make one question the significance of performances in the European club competition. Three of them. And five Tigers who have been monumentally shite. That said it is not as simple as translating overall club performance against international, or player performance.Puja wrote:And quite a few players from Exeter, who managed somehow to avoid winning their first two games, which would've seen them through comfortably. Eddie isnt going anywhere, but i think his tactical guidance and lack of use of the bench today are faults that are his alone.

Totally agree. Though there is an argument to say it was a test from EJ. Either way it failed.fivepointer wrote:Eddie isnt going anywhere, but i think his tactical guidance and lack of use of the bench today are faults that are his alone.

Honestly, is it just that you can’t handle losing? We’re all probably a bit het up after the game, but you seem to be on a bit of a wind up at the moment. Take a break.Stom wrote:I forgive you Eugene.

Re: The "get rid of the coach"poll returns
I'm sorry if it seems that way, but Eddie is paid good money to make decisions. It was obvious that we were struggling with the gameplan as it was. So we needed to change it. But no-one changed anything. It's his job to change thing, but we left ALL our back subs on the bench, Moon (a player who was blowing after 55 minutes) on until after 70, and didn't change a single thing about the gameplan.Timbo wrote:Honestly, is it just that you can’t handle losing? This is a WC year. You need a plan B. This was the time to use it, but no...
The performance of the England team in that 2nd half was embarrassing. And the blame lies squarely on the shoulders of the coach.
