Just heard the tragic news that Patrick Ekeng has passed away after collapsing during a Dinamo Bucharest match a little while ago.
Been reading a number of online accounts of what happened and seen a video which was extremely hard to watch. It seems the local hospital was only a couple of minutes away but the ambulance which was at the match didn't have a defibrillator and it doesn't seem that any of the medics on hand administered CPR on the pitch. There may have been a delay for over 7 minutes until he received proper care.
Not sure if that is entirely correct but it's incredibly sad. Far too young to go.

I am sure Patrick was just very unfortunate, but
I hope thorough blood analysis takes place each time a young fit professional sportsman has a heart attack..it's happening too often.Blood doping to earn your crust would be a bad place to be.
In fact, do random checks on footballers take place by WADA ? The most successful team in Europe over the last decade always had the highest swarmability factor over opponents..just an observation.
Condolences to the young man's family.
