I've just been to the post office to order my International Driving Permit in preparedness for a no-deal, as I visit head office in France for 1 week in every month.
What a fucking waste of time that was. My local post office are not accepting applications, as they have run out of the "special glue" required to stick the passport photo to the form. My passport has visas for the US, India, China and Russia in it, and in each case I used a Pritt stick to glue the photo to the application form, so I met this news with nothing short of incredulity.
"You could try going up to Perth or down to Dunfermline", came the helpful response
"Do they definitely have this magic glue, then?" quoth I.
"er,....I don't know....probably....."

I suspect this is a pretty good indicator of our general state of readiness for the forthcoming clusterfuck.

The magic glue is probably made in another eu member state. Anyone got Grayling’s number. I’m in the Uk, don’t have any glue or the expertise to make it so I figure I am in prime position to take on this essential post brexit role.

And it keeps getting worse, Nigel Lawson is returning home. He had claimed he was staying in France but gave that up because he didn't want to pay French taxes, and whilst he'd prefer to stay there he wasn't able to forsee brexit would make that a problem

So the May deal will be rejected. And she is probably out on her ear given the apparent threat of Tory Rebels to back a vote of no confidence.

Is there anyone who can negotiate a compromise that will has a vote in the Commons? Time for some grown ups to make themselves known.

In a move that will surprise nobody, the ERG have decided that, as the deal hasn't changed one iota; nor has their position on it - urging it's members to vote against.

It really is All or Nothing for them!

ETA: Looks like DUP have said much the same - so no way on earth that this passes.
So the only question left, is will the motion be rejected, or will May decide not to have a vote after all, and run the clock down some more.

Irrelevent as ERG and DUP seemingly set on no-deal anyway.......that's where we are headed. Or a GE. Or both.

Not sure the MPs uniformly get three things
1- No deal needs legislation
2- The EU have to approve an extension
3- There is no transition without a WA

There's a scenario where we pass legislation to rule out no deal, and the EU don't agree an extension. Lol.

The EU aren't going to rule out some form of extension as practically they're not ready either
