Bill and Ben
... trundle into the team hotel in the wee hours after a few bevvies, and now may be looking at disciplinary measures. Who could blame them after a terrible performance in the last 6N game of the season. Winding down/etting off steam with a few jars is a rugby tradition, especially at the end of a tournament. The whole team plus coaches should have joined them for a right old blitz - might have improved squad bonding.

Nothing story, Saracens might want a word with Billy about recovery, Wuss probably expect Te'o to head abroad for a rest anyway

On that note, one would have expected CJ Stander and Bundee Aki to be similarly on the lashSpiffy wrote:... t. Who could blame them after a terrible performance in the last 6N game of the season. .

Billy's fine. But BAN TE'O! Terrible behaviour! Nothing at all to do with the fact I don't want him in the squad...

All I'd say is that if it was a happy, well-managed squad with everyone singing from the same hymn sheet, it would not have happened. I've got no issue, necessarily, with players sneaking out for a drink, coming back a bit late etc. However, I do not like two of them going like that. That's not team spirit.

There are plenty of well managed, happy squads where this happens. What would Martin Johnson say.....Oakboy wrote:All I'd say is that if it was a happy, well-managed squad with everyone singing from the same hymn sheet, it would not have happened. Not just plenty but quite possibly every squad has this happen, it's just mostly not reported on. At the point someone is driving a golf cart down the motorway it's clearly gone too far but this is nothingMellsblue wrote:There are plenty of well managed, happy squads where this happens.
