What's the penalty for?

Why Blackadder insists on changing his 10’s with 20 minutes to go every bloody game is beyond me.

Poor tackling /defence and pens killing Bath. For all Glaws have been excellent in using two distributors, Bath haven't adapted; sometimes you have to let the play unfold in front of you, and also stand wider and push them inside.

Either I've lost an eye, or Carley's switched to homer-mode

Fair, though one of them was completely invented rather than marginalBanquo wrote:as always, side with momentum gets the marginal ones.Which Tyler wrote:Either I've lost an eye, or Carley's switched to homer-mode

Very enjoyable game. Big win for Glos, who did well to come back from 17-0 down and finished good winners. The Cips-Atkinson axis is just so good.
Glos did get the rub of the refereeing green, none more so when they talked the ref into giving a crucial pen for going off feet at the breakdown just before h/t. Despite both sides repeating the same offence at virtually every breakdown, it was never penalised again.

In about the 32nd minute Joseph tackled Morgan by jumping on him from behind with both arms over the shoulders. Now, I don't think it was in the least bit dangerous, but it was effectively a double seat belt. Surely, it was at least a penalty under the current guidelines and harshly inconsistent in the context of so many having been penalised for the single seat belt.

It wasn’t a penalty because Joseph’s arms are around Morgan’s arms. They’re not over the shoulder at all.Oakboy wrote:In about the 32nd minute Joseph tackled Morgan by jumping on him from behind with both arms over the shoulders. That was weird, I don't like swapping a 10 unless you need to and Bath specifically didn’t need to. That Priestland then delivered momentum to Glaws was at least amusingTimbo wrote:Why Blackadder insists on changing his 10’s with 20 minutes to go every bloody game is beyond me.

Juggler would have the stats on whether his calves cramp more at 10 than 15Raggs wrote:Just read an article that burns has compartment syndrome and calves badly cramp up.Timbo wrote:Why Blackadder insists on changing his 10’s with 20 minutes to go every bloody game is beyond me.
