Be nice to see how Barbeary deals with the step up in physicality.

I hope Warr makes it big just for the headline opportunities.

By my reckoning we are missing Heyes, Ma'asi, Dolly, Coles, Capstick, Hill, Hinkley, Maunder, Hardwick, Smith, Wilkinson, Redpath, Dingwall, Lawrence, Seabrook, Murley, Sleightholme, Reed and Hassel-Collins either through injury or club commitments.
Big test for some of the new backs in particular.

I don't know - I just find myself asking what is he good for?

England win 35 v 8, running away with the game late on. Horrible wind throughout the game.

We were rusty but showed enough. Some standouts, notably Hodge, Willis, Tuima, Owen and of course Barbeary. Couple of overthrown lineouts and one knock on, but otherwise he was excellent.

I didn’t catch the game tonight but Hodge has impressed me every time I’ve seen him play.

Newcastle look almost certain to be relegated now so it could be a good opportunity for him to get some first team exposure in the Championship.

Given who was missing thats a really good scoreline. Bit patchy in places but some nice tries and definitely finished well on top.
Willis and Tuima were good and Hodge certainly impressed me. Liked Morris too and Owen good off the bench.
Barbeary is quite a player. He is playing as an U18. Hard to believe with some of his carrying and offload work. The set piece consistency will come.
