Played against him back in under 16's Kent vs Surrey. Quite Surreal.

The lad was a terrific prospect. HUGE thighs! Was excited to see him come into the first team. Awful news, RIP

Thats bloody awful. Youngsters passing away always seems especially poignant.

I know how you feel. Dan Wheldon was a couple of years above me at school but I didn't really know him. When he was killed it was a very strange feeling.

Awful for all involved.

I've read some glowing reviews of the fella. Apparently he was not only a standout rugby prospect but an even finer young man. Thoughts are with his family.
