RIP Micky Steele-Bodger

Post by Digby »

A few days late this but still worthy of putting up. One of the biggest names and characters in rugby ever, and was without doubt Barbarian to his core.

Well played Sir.

Some of the stories about him are brilliant.

It’s a shame he didn’t get to read about Goode’s Champ Cup celebrations.

I can't imagine he'd be impressed with the yellow boots

My (late) best rugby mate played for a Steele-Bodgers XV and it was the highlight of a long and legendary junior club career. The spirit of (I guess) the best of old school rugby. RIP.
