Elliot Dixon is off. Goodhue is staying, as are Havili and Lomax.

B. Barrett confirmed for the Blues. Some sort of short stint in Japan remains an option for him.

It would be interesting to see who gets left out in the cold out of the Blues 10s:
Perofeta has yet to really live up to the hype train that seems to surround him in these here parts (this year wouldn't have helped him, having sat out the entire season due to injury), and he always comes off like a Diet Cola version of Tasesa Lavea, himself a Diet Cola version of Carlos Spencer.
Harry Plummer was an understandable selection after a strong season with Auckland, but his weaknesses were brutally exposed.
Otere Black did OK, and even got himself in the conversation for higher honours, but struggled to make the step up.

With a likely opening at 12, I wonder if any of them will reinvent themselves as a second five-eighths?

Otere Black was poor for the Māori.

Hard to single him out, when the entire team was crap.

J Barrett signs to 2022. Hurricanes next year but can switch after that.
