Quite surprised at a) how cheap Tigers are, b) how very expensive Sarries are relatively (double the lower end)
Exeter pricey too.

Not drastically surprising to me - if you plotted stadium size vs season ticket price, you'd get a pretty obvious trend. The outlier would be Sale, who need to get people through the door by hook or by crook.
Saracens always said when they moved to Allianz that they would make up for having fewer seats with more premium tickets. Guess they weren't kidding!

That's pretty much it. The first page of cheapest all have the biggest grounds.Puja wrote:Not drastically surprising to me - if you plotted stadium size vs season ticket price, you'd get a pretty obvious trend. The outlier would be Sale, who need to get people through the door by hook or by crook.

Sale will always have the problem of the stadium being in the worst possible place.
Do Sarries have any extension plans? I've always seen them as a side who lack a fanbase big enough to have a bigger ground

They are building a new stand, but they're limited by their deals with Barnet Council, so it's more in terms of quality and corporate, rather than lots of extra seats. I think they could undoubtedly have a 15-20k stadium mostly full if that were an option - the success they've had will always attract fans - but their location and the covenants on it are prohibitive.NorthWestRugby wrote:That's pretty much it.
