something wrong with them, more like. They aren't children.Oakboy wrote:One too many such incidents, I'd suggest. Something wrong about the training environment perhaps?

Quite. Besides, this happened during a social function apparently.Banquo wrote:something wrong with them, more like. They aren't children.Oakboy wrote:One too many such incidents, I'd suggest. Something wrong about the training environment perhaps?

Yeah, social function for team bonding, not training ground scrap with people trying too hard to prove themselves.
Not a good look, and a second strike for Te'o IIRC.
I guess I'll find injury discussion in a different thread

I dont think much has been said about the injuries, although Eddie did say all 3 will get chances in the coming games, which implies that;Which Tyler wrote:Yeah, social function for team bonding, not training ground scrap with people trying too hard to prove themselves.

a) they’ll all be in the squad and,
b) they’re not too injured

I hadn't seen that, good news all around (especially for Ruaridh). Presumably bad news for Nowell though - unless he's allowed a dispensation to name an injured player, and keep playing his replacement until then - buys him a bit of time I guess

Doesn't need to actually name the squad for a while, this is just the RFUs announcement.Which Tyler wrote:I hadn't seen that, good news all around (especially for Ruaridh). Re: World Cup Training Squad
So even though the squad is announced tomorrow can changes be made before the deadline if players who are named don't recover from injury?

Yep. It’s a Jones self imposed deadline.
