Now Daly down and our defence is looking well wobbly

Interesting to see if Biggar kicks more....and obviously, we need to not kick as much in the air now.

Probably thinking ‘what would I do in this situation’.Banquo wrote:lol. Irony of LCD scoring from a shyte throw.

Hope Curry is ok. Some good things - back row for 25 mins, half backs putting a bit of pace and intelligence into it in attack. Kicking not great, chasing and tackling poor; line speed drops away and we look in bother out wide.

Christ. Barnes has been ragging on LCD for losing a lineout which was 100% a good steal and nothing wrong with throw, won't leave it alone. Yet when Owens gives up a try through a definite overthrow, it's all, "Maybe there was something wrong with the lift?"

13 missed tackles of 55 is not a good look.

Surprisingly good with a few minor worries:
LCD's throwing
Ford's kicking from hand
Excessive box-kicking
JJ's lost a yard of pace?
Soft penalties conceded

He looked comfortable enough. Hopefully it’s more of a precaution. He was looking excellent until that point.Banquo wrote:fck on Curry. And in a moment, back row utterly unbalanced.

Interesting first half. Heinz started well and dropped off towards the end. Genge the opposite. Ford looking good. JJ moving well. Forwards coming on to the ball well. Ludlum has been very busy. Defensively very good. Worry about Curry, but hopefully precaution.
Credit to Davies. Both steps were bloody beautiful! There’s little crime in being done by class. Credit the scorer.

Yes, conceded a few too many unnecessary pens.

what was wrong with Ford's kicking from hand? That one they called as a bad kick, was actually a bad chase, and Adams should have been nailed by Joe. He kicked one dead for a very good field position post drop out, and he kicked a good one that bounced short of their line....Anscombe put a beauty in, fairness.Oakboy wrote:Surprisingly good with a few minor worries:

To counter your JJ lost a yard of pace question- and that looked fair when he got outpaced by Anscombe- every touch he had of the ball was excellent.

Oh and Ewels has been really good. He’s had a cracking game so far.

for finishing, yes, for making the break, big minuses on Ludlam and Billy imo.Epaminondas Pules wrote:Interesting first half. Heinz started well and dropped off towards the end. Genge the opposite. Our overall defence was shoddy. JJ down for three missed tackles is a bit of a surprise. Ford 8 and 0 and second top

again, need to be scoring (a try) there, but some nice back play.
