How well would a New Zealand 2nd XV (i.e. players not in the announced 31) go in the RWC?
A 31 man squad and match-day XXIII would look something like this, I reckon (feel free to suggest improvements - I've focused on recently capped players):
Match Day
1. Karl Tu’inukuafe
2. Nathan Harris
3. Owen Franks
4. Jackson Hemopo
5. Luke Romano
6. Liam Squire
7. Dalton Papali’i
8. Akira Ioane
9. Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi
10. Josh Ioane
11. Waisake Naholo
12. Ngani Laumape
13. Matt Proctor
14. Braydon Ennor
15. Nehe Milner-Skudder
16. Asafo Aumua
17. Tim Perry
18. Tyrel Lomax
19. Gareth Evans
20. Shannon Frizell
21. Mitch Drummond
22. Ma’a Nonu
23. David Havili
Dirties
Ash Dixon

Uh, I think you've forgotten Brett Cameron.
Can't say I blame you, I'd forgotten about him too.

Is Milner-Skudder fit and playing again? He looked so good before that I figured if I wasn’t hearing his name and t meant he was injured again.
Your wingers do seem to have incredibly short but impressive bursts of looking class, then you’re always able to bring another in.

I had him in, but ditched him because I can’t recall a thing he’s done on a rugby field.cashead wrote:Uh, I think you've forgotten Brett Cameron.

Good question. Google says he had shoulder surgery earlier this year, so he might not be fit yet.Mikey Brown wrote:Is Milner-Skudder fit and playing again? He looked so good before that I figured if I wasn’t hearing his name and t meant he was injured again.

At this point, it's a pretty safe assumption. I'm assuming he'll be getting settled in at Toulon any day now, if he hasn't already anyway.Mikey Brown wrote:Is Milner-Skudder fit and playing again? He looked so good before that I figured if I wasn’t hearing his name and t meant he was injured again.

Had a 9 minute appearance for the All Blacks. Had a mare for the Crusaders earlier this year, against the Waratahs, and fell behind Mitch Hunt. I legit forgot he was an All Black until I started thinking about how there was another capped 10 not named Josh Ioane in Super Rugby.Lizard wrote:I had him in, but ditched him because I can’t recall a thing he’s done on a rugby field.cashead wrote:Uh, I think you've forgotten Brett Cameron.
