I was in the crowd and that game felt eminently comfortable. We were just ambling towards victory without being overly challenged, alternating between being 10 points and 7 points ahead, looking far more dangerous than Wales in attack but giving away some stupid penalties to keep them in it. Then Davies scored from absolutely nowhere and suddenly they were level. It made it so much worse - we had 70 minutes of having had it in the bag and then 10 minutes of realising that, not only had we not put the game away, but that we actually weren't going to.Timbo wrote:I watched the 2015 WC game again quite recently....god, we should have won that by 10 points at least. No idea how we contrived a way to lose that match.
