Martin has had a beard since he was about 7!! So quality youngsters in that lineup. Steward looks a class act, as does Costello. Refell and Smith are the main reasons they let will Evans go. Looking forward to seeing how they get on.

What is more important is what happens when the 1st team get back in action if some of these lads go well. Is there any sign of a change in 'policy'?Epaminondas Pules wrote:Martin has had a beard since he was about 7!! So quality youngsters in that lineup. Steward looks a class act, as does Costello. Seems to be, or what we’re hearing, but only time will tell. I do think some of last years U18’s will force their hand somewhat, especially Steward and Martin and maybe Costello and Browning.

Its a good point that the youngsters do have to make their case on the park, rather than 'us' quixotically wishing they were magically in the 2st team.Epaminondas Pules wrote:Seems to be, or what we’re hearing, but only time will tell.
