New Zealand.
Gotta say the all blacks looked f ing great going forward.
Their players initial explosive acceleration and footwork to go through or past tacklers was a different level.

Just commented on a different thread that Beauden Barrett is the fullback I wish Daly was…
He adds such a different dynamic to attacks

I thought Barrett's pace demonstrated how far ahead he is of all other FHs. The game had at least five half backs better than any of ours - 3 SHs and at least 2 FHs.Renniks wrote:Just commented on a different thread that Beauden Barrett is the fullback I wish Daly was…

I'd love to see what Ford would be able to achieve outside De Klerk or Smith.Oakboy wrote:I thought Barrett's pace demonstrated how far ahead he is of all other FHs. Smith and Faf were making errors for fun in that game, albeit under rather more pressure than Youngs today, but still, had Youngs been putting in all those bad passes and kicks people wouldn't be kind. Really Youngs was better than anyone in the SA vs NZ game, though in a much easier gameOakboy wrote:I thought Barrett's pace demonstrated how far ahead he is of all other FHs. I didn't really watch after 10-15 minutes in. It started off okay, not brilliantly, but okay. After that it had the feel of an opposed training run which I confess didn't hold my attention, so if you want to know the results of our discussion on what should go into meatballs for tonight's curry that I have detail on, but the rugby, not so muchOakboy wrote:Digs, did you think Youngs kicked well today?Digby wrote:Smith and Faf were making errors for fun in that game, albeit under rather more pressure than Youngs today, but still, had Youngs been putting in all those bad passes and kicks people wouldn't be kind. Ah well, enjoy the meal. I spent a good deal of the 80 minutes yelling at Youngs not to kick - as usual. Functional but boring, I suppose.Digby wrote:I didn't really watch after 10-15 minutes in.
