Scully did not look okay getting up after tackling JC. Hope he's alright. Definitely seems the sort to fight through an injury.

Don't want to start you lot off but in an alternate universe Ford would be England's Mr Reliable star player and Farrell would be a good bench option who can cover 12

You’ve got a problem with your end.

He's not wrong - I fiddled with my end a bit and it's much better now.

When's the last time you saw a lineout thrown straight down the middle?

ESPN Commentary:
The stats don't lie: England have had 68 percent possession so far, with the ball spending 82 percent of the time in Japan territory. There doesn't look to be a shock on the cards thus far.
Well, Japan being involved is a bit of a shock, I suppose.

Techincally, we're spending 100% of time in Japanese territory and so are the Americans.

I don't remember who it was, but it was someone on the Italy minute-by-minute thread who said that England should deal with people swinging round the back of the maul by detaching and letting them fall away - looks like they listened to you. That's three mauls in a row where people have released when they've had an American swinging round on the back of their shirt.
