Clock falling off the pace a little. Might need to use, ahem, quick hands to catch up.

Rieko has looked a lot better in the second half - keeping himself busy by getting more involved in the tight stuff, bagged a try and running some good support lines.

Savea looks like the lazer eye x-man character.

Ben Smith looks a bit out of sorts.

Savea should probably wear headgear to keep his goggles secured.

Also, funny how a neckroll is suddenly illegal.

I think he’ll struggle to keep those goggles in place with only a strap, I agree. Adding headgear is a further piece of unfamiliar gear for him to get used to, though. It’s all less than ideal.

Kudos to Canada for drawing the last quarter. How many teams keep NZ scoreless in the final 20?

Are the goggles meant to be correcting his vision or just preventing damage to that area?

Seems odd if it’s physical protection. But surely contacts if it’s about his sight?

Ah. Hadn’t clocked that it was more about protecting the right than preserving the left, as it didn’t seem to originate from a rugby injury.
