More than one set - hook him off at HT.
It's not just his kicking, he's having a bad day all round; but does look to me as if his head's been rattled - and with good justification.

I'd also replace Billy at HT - he's too important going forwards; and with that red card; we don't NEED him out there.

Ford is off his game, IMO. Sinckler looks to have better hands, FFS.

Can Ford kick please?

So far so good in an unimpressive way ...

I would almost have preferred Lavanini to have stayed on so this was a better test.

As it is, if we get a BP try early, we should empty the bench and get ready for France.

Fucking hell how many kicks does a player have to miss before we change kicker? Just let Ford take one Owen, you shit.

The shape of the midfield needs Tuilagi at IC perhaps?

Is he? On what basis? We've not been using him enough and our only go forward has been with his orchestrating.

Although ARG are theoretically still in the game, I expect Eng to run riot in the second half.

Gotta say, that's easily the best 40 mins I've seen from Daly at 15. One mistimed pass aside it's been good stuff, there was even a try saving tackle in there. May is officially awesome. Fair play to Arg, they're making a game of it still, even if it is with Farrell's help.

No, it needs Farrell off, who may be concussed...Or may just be having a god awful game.

HT 15 - 3 (24 - 3 would have been game over..)
Youngs spunky sniping is a plus...gives balance for some of the sh!t stuff earlier.

I didn't realise he was actually on the field.

What's the odds of Ford still coming off for Slade and Faz moving to 10?

That’s what you concluded from our play? You don’t think there’s any connection with what is happening inside?

They’ve been given “last last warning” for over a year. Maybe enforcing it at the World Cup is the only way the message will get through. Agree it is having a major effect on some matches but so it should. Tackle properly and you have no problems

If you consistently and mercilessly card anyone who breaks the rules it will stop very, very, very quickly. A RWC was NOT the place to do it.

SCW is with oak boy on Manu tackle. That seals it for me.

I can't imagine they've been training much with Ford - Tuilagi - Slade… but that's what I'd be doing second half
Also, Ludlam on for Billy

50 mins - Get Heinz on too

I agree Ford has had limited ball with which to impose himself but that should mean he treats what he does get as vital, not kick it away aimlessly or drop it. I would prefer him to stay on when Slade comes on but he is giving Jones an excuse to move Farrell to 10. I hate the thought of that.

Faz has had the ball in hand more than Ford, which says something. Now you could argue Ford needs to step in and take charge, but this twin fly half thing is confusing then today.

Ludlam on for Billy. Who will play 8
