Good to see Mercer back, though that is a useful back row for Worcester

Good line from Du Preez this time, #8 on the charge beats a small FB 1m from the line.
10-10, 15 min

I'm entertained

Wuss 13 - 10 Bath

Score seems a fair reflection of the play

Wuss yellow card for playing the SH without retreating 10 for the penalty

Multiphase pick and go leads to Baths 2nd try - I do have those illegal pre-binds though

Piecenof magic by Cook (?) To keep the ball alive in a promising attack, but can't quite get the ball out side to Ruaridh, undefended to the left

Great try by David for Wuss.
Bath defence stutters and Weir juggles the ball, and creates a nice dogleg.
Against the run of play for the second half

Mercer adjudged MotM in TRP. Good effort that after a long lay off. And he went the full 80. Too early to be getting a call from the England coach?

Mercer was very good, it's the first time I've seen him play live. He seems a very intelligent rugby player, so probably not the type of player Eddie wants.

Ted Hill and Ollie Lawerence were also very good yesterday. Ted carried and hit very hard and whenever Ollie has ball in hand it seems like something is going to happen. He has a great step and loves to offload.

Mercer would have to be, pound for pound, one of the most influential forwards in the Prem. I can’t remember the last time I saw, or heard about him having, a bad game.

Hill and Lawrence were very good. Really stood out. I’d be looking at both of them internationally.
