I guess the logic may be that we want to keep some consistency between Glasgow/Edinburgh lineout throwing/jumping options.

The 8 shirt has been an odd one.

Let's hope Ali Price can keep Wales away last time out of his head. He's been largely good but made some very dodgy decisions that could have cost us.

Really disappointing the 6 nations is now coming to an end and Scott, Hutchinson, Bennett are seemingly not worth a glance at centre. I feel like Jones was really poorly managed as well, to ditch him entirely having had his return to form overhyped quite a lot doesn't look great. I hope they've all been given a very clear idea of what they need to do to challenge the mighty Chris Harris.

Sale fans rate him - 6’2”, 20 stone, for what it’s worth.

With us, I guess the line-out hasn’t been the best, so why not use the strength in depth to try to stimulate improvements? Cummings has been really good tho. Am interested to see him off the bench with a point to prove.

Bradbury presumably does have a point to prove.

Okay with that. I share the frustration re the centres but that (rightly) was never going to change this week. Same with G Horne but I did say Price needed a proper run.

With a 6 day turnaround it is also nice that we have been able to freshen up a couple of positions without an obvious drop in quality.

Yep. Fair all round. I said that about Price too, and Harris as well to be honest. At least we know where we are with Harris now, I just hope if he is in the shirt for the foreseeable future he can add a bit more spark in attack or bring others into the game a bit more.

A big positive side to those changes is seeing if Brown, Cummings, and Fagerson can have a real impact from the bench. Brown and Cummings have certainly done it before, and I think it's only a matter of time before Fagerson and Horne start putting more of a mark on games if they get the chance.

We’re going to fucking smash them.

This approach seemed to work last week, so why not?

Sensible selection, bit of freshening up. Bradbury needs to be a bit more visible for me. Chris Harris hat trick here we come.

I can’t work out how late they can really leave it to cancel. Some people must be on their way already?

WRU have confirmed it's on. Already lots of Scots in Cardiff and lots more on the way.

I've just arrived in Cardiff. Plenty of Scots around already. Really hoping they won't cancel it at such short notice but either way, I'm about to drink so much that no virus can survive in my body.

It's been called off.

Not blaming the WRU for this as I'm sure there were a number of parties involved but what a SHIT way to treat the fans. Correct decision? Yes. but it should have been done far sooner or at the very least the WRU should not have been telling fans it will go ahead.

Someone was given some shit advice here.

Yep. Surely town is now going to be rammed with a lot of travellers in very confined spaces anyway? They'll just be cramming in to any available pubs now instead of the Principality if Oxymoron is any sort of guide.

What a mess.

Anybody else really dislike that there is some nonce at the BBC who always uses the dumbest pictures they can find for the thumbnails on the main page? Is that just me being utterly humourless? Probably.

It's got to be intentional. Or possibly a bot.

Exactly mate. The pubs are already busy (standard Friday afternoon crowds plus plenty of Scotland supporters) so I imagine it's going to be rammed all night.

Pretty disappointing news this late in the day. I think the WRU must have been worried about how it would look with pretty much everything else being cancelled today.

Never mind, it won't stop us enjoying ourselves in a great city!

You gave us a pasting so that's good enough for me that you'd've won tomorrow!

Just arrived in wales. Full of pissed up rugby fans already, and I aim to join their number shortly. Pointless cancelling it Friday afternoon.

Yeah, cancelling it this late seems face saving more than anything. Saw someone suggesting hotels and bars in Cardiff will be delighted with the delay in cancelling.
