Slightly surprised by that Saracens side. Strong pack minus the rookie loosehead but definitely more of a mix and match group of backs.
With the exception of Ashton dropping out for Morris, that is the same Quins 23 as last week and pretty much our strongest side until Esterhuizen, Louw and Green arrive.

Jamie George is so reliably in the middle of those situations, you have to commend him.

Did the ref really just check that cause Faz rushed the kick?
Not that he actually thought something happened?

That was really poor work rate from Dombrandt. Just left the ruck unguarded for a walk in.

Surely that's a wrong call?
The penalty didn't make touch because Maitland kept it in, even if it was knocked on.
Well Sarries win it back anyway so that's fair.

Really frustrating to watch ...
Saracens playing very little rugby but we’ve given them so much field position and so many easy opportunities.

It's so weird seeing Tim Swinson in a Sarries shirt.

Yep. Something like that anyway. Although not all through injury like Barrow and Jennings.Mikey Brown wrote:9 players from England juniors in 2013 now retired? Did I hear that right?
Definitely Clifford, Conlon, Barrow, Hanson, Scott Wilson and Jennings. Not sure about a few others like Spurling?

Somewhat ironic that Saracens literally have the word ‘honesty’ written on their stand.

Matt Hankin retired very young after repeated head knocks.Scrumhead wrote:Yep. Something like that anyway. Although not all through injury like Barrow and Jennings.Mikey Brown wrote:9 players from England juniors in 2013 now retired? Did I hear that right?

But then look at 2011 where only 5 have retired and two of them were to go and try it in the NFL.

Conlon is back playing again now. Was told to take 2 years off due to neck injury, but recently signed to either a Championship or Nat 1 team.Epaminondas Pules wrote:Matt Hankin retired very young after repeated head knocks.Scrumhead wrote:Yep. Spurling is retired, but I think not injury related.
Hankin is suing Saracens for mistreatment relating to his head injury which occurred during a drinking game involving a fire extinguisher! He was in a really bad place for a couple of years post injury, headaches, constant dizziness etc. Spent days indoors , lights off, couldn’t drive, watch tv....
