Re: Unconfirmed sources.
What? That is madness, surely there are some RFU board members we need less than the academy in Yorkshire?

Re: Unconfirmed sources.
Yorkshire Carnegie have officially gone back to being Leeds Tykes, with a quote of, "We got carried away perhaps with our ambition to dominate things in Yorkshire," from the new chair.

Sounds like sensible changes all round and cutting their cloth to fit their circumstances. Hopefully we'll see them back up in the Champ sooner rather than later.

Not often I get things right but I suggested a West Park link up in this thread a while ago.....even a broken clock is correct twice a day etc....
The return to the Tykes name has been known for a while as that was their name when fixture lists were released a couple of months ago. So, it’s hardly the headline of a breaking news piece. More evidence that the BBC’s attitude towards Union is pretty poor which, given, they force Guscott and Moore on us every year is probably an understatement.

Presumably/hopefully no merger in the offing? Just a ground share? It's a decent enough ground for Nat 1.Mellsblue wrote:Not often I get things right but I suggested a West Park link up in this thread a while ago.....even a broken clock is correct twice a day etc....

Not that I’ve heard of but my ear isn’t that close to the ground. They were essentially homeless as there was no way they could afford to stay at Headingley and, in that scenario, West Park made the most sense, I think. If they can work with both the men’s and woman’s teams already there it could be a good long term solution.OnlyMonikerRemaining wrote:Presumably/hopefully no merger in the offing?
