All change from both sides after both got a bit of a hiding at the weekend. A game that Bris should be looking to win to ensure their top 4 status.
Lawrence v Radradra might be fun.

I keep thinking this guy's name is Loan. How do you actual pronounce Ioan? Ian? Eoghan?

My friend has named his lad that and he pronounces it Yoan.

Wuss actually winning so far, and they're good for it too! Would love for them to take this one.

Missed the game. What happened with the Kitchener red card?

Stopped watching at half time, only just seen the score, no idea about any cards.

Listened on the radio, sounds like a typical hot/cold first half. Much better second half though, glad to get the win and bp out of that.

Kitchener throw a punch at someone, think it was Joyce, and Siale smacked him to get his yellow. No idea what kicked it off. Bans for both I suspect.

Sounded like a big second half from Hughes, Siale and Radradra. Just Harry Randell is ok!

Watched until the last 10 minutes so didnt see the red card incident.
Wuss were good value for their h/t lead which could have been greater but for last ditch tackles preventing further tries.
Bris much better after h/t.
Randall was carried off with a nasty knee injury which is likely to keep him out of action for some time. A real pity as he was really playing well, mixing some excellent distribution with sharp running.

Yeah, I switched over to the Saints game so missed the last try and red card.

I’m annoyed I went for Lawrence over Marchant for my fantasy team. 5 points is crap, but having watched the game, I’m not at all surprised - he made his tackles but otherwise did nothing in 50mins ... When I’ve seen him play before, he’s seemed to really want the ball, but last night he was totally overshadowed by Venter.

Does Venter do passing?

That’s probably a fair criticism, but I thought he was one of Worcester’s best players and had some nice moments in tandem with Weir.

Lawrence probably could/should have profited more from that but he was nowhere to be seen. I was keeping an eye on him and he spent the majority of the time jogging in to position - that’s not necessarily wrong, but considering Worcester were attacking, he didn’t show much urgency/willingness to get involved. On a couple of occasions, he had a bit of space and kicked. Looked like he didn’t fancy it.

I’m not even sure I’ve knowingly seen Venter play. He just sounds vaguely South African so I assumed he was a classic horse-blinkers, bosh-man style 12.

Does this make me a massive racist? It seems to be going around at the moment.

Yeah, I saw Lawrence (in the first half), going from side to side, then watching the ball go the other way.

Lawrence was very quiet. I wonder if he wasnt fully fit. He came off quite early.

Apparently Randall not as badly injured as feared.

Venter is class, very much more than a crash ball option. He has been our best back since arriving last year, admittedly its not that difficult to be Warriors best back since Adams and Heem left.

Ollie had an off nightast night. He's usually a lot more involved. He's still very young and has been involved a lot since restart.

Apologies for the man-crush on Semi but 197 metres, nine defenders beaten, three clean breaks and four offloads in 60 mins is pretty good going.

Very random question from this game (or rather from the highlights). Just before one of Bristol's tries you can hear Worcester complaining and Barnes saying "tackle not completed, he's allowed to roll". Is he? I though once you are down you have to either release the ball or get up. Not being held means you can get up without having to let go of the ball but don't think it means you can roll about to make it harder for the defence to steal the ball.

From the games I have watched so far the European refs have taken a different view to the NZ refs on the new directives. Biggest differences are entry into rucks, releasing on the ground and, particularly, offside lines.
