Re: New Shirt?
Don't worry, it's just the training shirt...

I think it’s alright. Certainly not the horror many were fearing.

Re: New Shirt?
Very uninspiring. Looks like a cheap knock off of an England shirt you'd find in a street market

It looks like a football shirt. Unsurprising when you sign with Umbro, but still disappointing.

It does look like a football shirt, but I think it could have been a lot worse ...

Hardly innovative or inspiring, is it?

Re: New Shirt?
There's just something entirely wrong about Umbro on a rugby shirt.

You jest! Our captain is nothing but innovative and inspirational - or so we’re led to believe?Banquo wrote:designed by Faz.francoisfou wrote:Hardly innovative or inspiring, is it?

How inspiring does a white shirt with red trim get though?francoisfou wrote:Hardly innovative or inspiring, is it?
Not just Umbro, but any kit designer is kind of damned if they do, damned if they don’t with England kits and Umbro were already facing a fair bit or scepticism. If they’d have gone with something a bit more left field, there’s a big risk no-one would by it ...
My favourite (the Nike centenary shirt) was arguably the plainest of all.

Agreed. Maybe with a hint if a collar and placket in red?

Yup, almost all white is as good as one can hope. The o2 logo is akways the ugliest thing, though.

Re: New Shirt?
Look, they had some old Arsenal training kit lying around and it seemed a shame to waste it. And we don't know they're not going to do a rugby versionPuja wrote:It looks like a football shirt. Unsurprising when you sign with Umbro, but still disappointing.
